I am pretty sure everybody has goals in life. But I suspect most people have ‘modest’ goals. They keep it that low to avoid disappointment in case they fail in pursuing their goals. That’s really a shame to approach life that way. With that strategy, your loss is affordable; but your wins are not life-changing either.

Why would you spend your energy on such a loss-loss deal?

There must be a much better approach in life.

I made some research and I found out that it’s free to think big. I learned there can be magic in thinking big.

Also, I found out that implementing big ideas is a life hack.

It might take a while to have big results but they are life-changing when they finally come in.

Personally, I would rather choose a big win in 5 years than 5 consecutive insignificant so-called victories.

Put this in your mind: success takes time.

It takes time to be a great something.

But it’s worth it.

There is no disappointment in thinking big. If you fail to reach the moon, you’ll end up with the stars. Still, you are better off than the fellow winning in the mud.

As the great motivator, Earl Nightingale, says,

Success is a Progressive Realization of a Worthy Ideal.

You have to discover what it is you want to realize in life and go for it. Remember that this realization will be progressive. Give it some time but don’t settle. Don’t kill yourself if things aren’t massive. Yet.

You would not plant a seed and dig it up the following day. It takes a while to grow a tree.

The same principle holds true for your dreams.

Dare to think big. It always pays off.

Don’t sell yourself short if you’re not yet on top of the world.
